Quick Start Guide
Get started with SpellCheck in just a few steps:
Step 1: Access the Editor
Navigate to the main editor page where you can start typing or paste your text.
Step 2: Enter Your Text
Type directly into the editor or paste text from another source. You can also import documents using the Import button.
Step 3: Check Your Text
Click the "Check Spelling" button or press Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter on Mac) to start the spell check process.
Step 4: Review Suggestions
Misspelled words will be highlighted. Click on them to see suggested corrections.
Step 5: Apply Corrections
Click on a suggestion to apply it, or choose to ignore the word if it's correct.
Step 6: Export Your Text
Once corrected, export your text in your preferred format using the Export button.

Familiarize yourself with the SpellCheck interface:
1. Editor Toolbar
The toolbar at the top of the editor contains essential tools:
- Import: Import documents from your computer
- Export: Export corrected text in various formats
- Check Spelling: Start spell checking process
- Undo/Redo: Undo or redo changes
- Settings: Access application settings
2. Text Editor
The main editing area where you type or paste your text. Features include:
- Real-time spell checking (errors highlighted in red)
- Grammar checking (issues highlighted in blue)
- Word count display
- Line numbers (can be toggled in settings)
3. Suggestions Panel
When you click on a highlighted error, the suggestions panel appears showing:
- Suggested corrections for misspelled words
- Grammar improvement suggestions
- Synonyms for word variety
- Options to ignore or add to dictionary
4. Status Bar
Located at the bottom, showing:
- Current word count
- Character count
- Language being checked
- Spell check progress
Basic Editing Features
SpellCheck includes all the basic text editing features you need:
Text Selection and Manipulation
- Select text by clicking and dragging
- Double-click to select a word
- Triple-click to select a paragraph
- Use Ctrl+A (Cmd+A on Mac) to select all text
Copy, Cut, and Paste
- Ctrl+C (Cmd+C) to copy selected text
- Ctrl+X (Cmd+X) to cut selected text
- Ctrl+V (Cmd+V) to paste text
- Right-click for context menu options
Undo and Redo
- Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z) to undo last action
- Ctrl+Y (Cmd+Y) to redo last undone action
- Up to 100 actions in undo history
Find and Replace
- Ctrl+F (Cmd+F) to open find dialog
- Ctrl+H (Cmd+H) to open replace dialog
- Case-sensitive and whole word options available
